Ways to stay motivated towards your goal.
You may be a little disappointed when you realise that you don’t have the motivation you once did, however there are things you can do to ensure you continue to remain motivated and focused. One of the easiest things you can do is to get back into the habit of doing something each day. Even a small amount of exercise, reading, or meditation can help to stay motivated.
Your reason to stay motivated is because of WHY
Setting a goal of looking good in clothes wasn’t big enough, I wanted to look good in my clothes because I didn’t want to be overweight and unhealthy.
Health is the most important thing in your life. Without it you cannot enjoy the other aspects of life. A healthy diet and lifestyle will help you to achieve your goals. If you are healthy you can enjoy all of life’s aspects and this will help you to achieve your goals.
You should have a reason to keep going when you feel like giving up. A reason that is big enough to keep you motivated.
Show people how you want them to feel.
When writing down your goals, you need to be realistic about what you can achieve. You may need to have a visual image to keep yourself motivated.
This is true. Writing down your goals is very powerful. Setting a goal is the first step to achieving it. Writing it down is the second. Having a visual image of your goal and linking that to your emotions is the third. There is no greater motivation than this!
Questions to ask yourself when, where and how !
If you want to make money, then you should consider how much time you want to spend making money and what your real motivation is. You should consider what you want and why. For example, many people want to make a million but the real motivation might be time freedom. Make sure you are clear on what you want.
To help you achieve your goals, ask yourself questions that will help you identify what the goal will bring you. For example:
- What will it be worth to me?
- Why should I use it?
- What is my lifestyle like?
- How will the changes affect my current routine?
- What are the sacrifices that I have to make?
- What will be the impact on your family if you get this job?
- What are the goals I want to achieve?
- How will you be able to help?
Keep your motivation up.
Motivation is very easy to maintain if you have an end result in mind. It is not so easy when you are not sure what you want. When you lose sight of your goal, you lose motivation.
Use a visual representation to explain what you want to others.
Keep the fires of motivation burning by creating a collage, or painting a picture, writing a poem, or singing a song. If you are excited enough, you will complete the task.
The more you keep an idea in your mind, the more likely you are to follow through with it. The same principle applies to your goals. You should keep your goals somewhere you can see them every day. I have a poster on my wall of my first 100,000 dollars. I can see it each morning when I wake up.
When you want to change your life and improve yourself in some way, you can do it in a number of ways. One of the best ways is to get rid of the things that are not helping you. You can remove the obstacles that are in your way and focus on the positive things in your life. You can also leave notes on your mirror, fridge and bathroom mirror to remind you of what you want to achieve.
Ask for help from others around you.
Support is essential for anybody wanting to achieve a goal. Friends, family and co-workers are great sources of support but you may find that you can also look into other sources such as books, mentoring, forums and coaches. You should also consider the people that can help you stay motivated and stay accountable.
A good tip is to share your goals with as many people as possible. This will keep you motivated to achieve your goal.
You can’t always get the support that you want from the people around you. In order to achieve the goals you have set out, you will need to work hard and be self-disciplined and positive about your dreams. If you are going to achieve your goals, you need to be prepared to go the distance and ignore any negative feedback that people may give you.
Develop inner personal strength.
Ultimately, the person who will determine whether you stay motivated and reach your goal will be you. Your thoughts will determine your behavior which determines your results. Developing strong inner personal strength about your ability to succeed and your ability to motivate yourself when you are in an unproductive state of mind is essential.
Being able to see setbacks and failures as opportunities for continued growth and upheaval. And emotional turmoil as opportunities to discover what you want and need will determine your outlook on life. One of the best ways to gain inner personal strength is to read and listen to audios that inspire and motivate you. Continuous learning is key to staying motivated.
Support for continuous learning.
If you need to learn new skills to ensure you reach your goal, it’s a good idea to identify the learning you’ll need to undertake as early as possible. If you have planned how you will achieve your outcome, you will already be aware of all the areas where you need to build your skills or outsource to others who will be able to meet your needs.
There’s nothing worse than being halfway to achieving a goal, only to be stopped because you’re unable to complete something due to a lack of knowledge. and/or skills. It’s a surefire way to dampen your excitement and motivation.
Make a list of what you can and cannot do and who might be able to help you. Knowing this ahead of time can help you avoid getting frustrated because things don’t get done. If you really want to develop your personal and professional life. I recommend getting a mentor or life coach to help you stay on track.
You should also consider continuous learning when it comes to your own personal development, pursuing your own personal development will enable you to overcome setbacks quickly and stay motivated.
The importance of staying motivated.
Staying motivated as you seek to achieve your goals is essential for ultimate success. I have provided you with seven practical ways to achieve continuous motivation and I recommend that you use them all. Some of these, like creating a collage, will be activities you do occasionally. But others, like pursuing your personal development, will be an ongoing learning process. There is no one thing that will determine your success in staying motivated, but a combination of many, finding the right combination for you will change from goal to goal and be a (fun) continuous exploration.
