It is impossible to realize a goal if you don’t know what it is. The better you know what you want to achieve, the better your chances of achieving it.

Take a piece of paper and visualize your goals. Don’t just say you’re going to make more money next year or get the promotion you were hoping for. Go ahead and describe the exact amount you will earn and the office you will be in when you get this promotion.
It may sound silly to some people, but there is real power in visualization. Take the time to visualize and describe your goals in as much detail as possible. Use a whole sheet of paper to map out what your life will look like when you achieve this goal.
What type of house will you live in when the business goal you set for yourself becomes a reality? What kinds of things will you do with your time in the morning? Who will report to you at work? What will your daily schedule look like?
Be as detailed and descriptive as possible. The more meticulously you can do this, the more likely you are to achieve your business goals.
Two: Set achievable business goals.
That doesn’t mean you can’t set ambitious business goals, especially in the long run. This means setting yourself goals that you really believe you can achieve. Whatever that goal is, make sure you have at least a chance of achieving it.
That doesn’t mean you have to know how you’re going to get there every step of the way. The founder of any successful startup can tell you that he could never have imagined all the steps it would have taken to get to where he is today.
Setting achievable business goals just means that you believe in yourself wholeheartedly enough to achieve that goal. It means you will do whatever it takes to make it happen.

We don’t want to earn a certain amount in business just so we can collect random pieces of paper with deceased notables on them. We want to make more money from what that money will bring us.
Time, security, freedom, contribution and family are some of the deepest and deepest reasons we could define to help achieve our business goals.

Five: Create milestones.
Milestones are a great way to create stepping stones to achieve your business goals.
But what exactly are milestones?
Well, think of it this way. Let’s say you set a business goal of becoming the top salesperson in your business within 18 months. To do this, you will first need to complete certain milestones.
What can you do to achieve your goal?

It is vital to set business goals and this is where the roadmap is the most important aspect of achieving them. The plan is the roadmap that will get you to your goals.
It is a very real exercise that is written down, planned and executed. It requires great mental toughness and is written down.

Ten: Take advantage of the 80/20 rule.
The 80/20 rule, or Pareto principle, says that 80% of the results come from 20% of the effort. Everything we measure, we will find that 80% of our results come from 20% of the work done.
In terms of sales, this means that 80% of our sales come from 20% of our efforts. When it comes to our income, the same applies.
Find the 20% of your efforts that produce the 80% of your results and amplify them. To do this, you need to make sure you track and analyze all the time you spend on your work-related endeavors throughout the day.
